Central Business District Promotions enhanced Nowra Junction Streetscape for the Commonwealth Cycle Classic on the 24th October by sponsoring a temporary artwork before the finishing line.
Facilitators Bindi Isis, Kerrie Flanders Mooney and artist Reggie Ryan designed a set of stencils illustrating native fauna killed on Shoalhaven roads. These stencils were place on the road and painted over with limewash ochre colours by artists from Shoalhaven Art Society and the Shoalhaven Youth Centre.
Congratulations to CBD Promotions and the artists involved in a project that added a distinctly local flavour to an event that was other proliferated with multi-national company propaganda.
