BJ'S HOME BREWING SUCCESSES| Recipes and Information |
| # Generally Grains are steeped in boiling water 3 times and strained. Some grains are boiled for 10 minutes as stated. For hops use the standard method unless stated. Most hops are sold in flow through bags in 12g sizes. However, when available, bulk hops are purchased. Maltodextrin can be made from wheat starch or powdered corn syrup and the latter is used when available. Ratings All ratings are judged after a three month period in the bottle the optimum period of time. Only recipes rated over 70% are retained. 80% is considered A1. Some brews are intentionally formulated to taste like commercial beers. So some names have been changed to avoid any embarrassment. |

Slightly darker than a usual ale colour due to the Munich grain. The boiling of the CL80 brought out the mild alpha which goes with the hops used in the St Arnou wort. A fine drop worthy of the grading.
