Kookaburra
A handsome
bird who seeks and eats lizards. Commonly known as the
laughing Kookaburra, his laugh echoes throughout the
bush.

Rainbow
Lorikeet
Their screeching, chattering
call makes their presence known and the sight of them in our
garden is just wonderful. As these birds fly, their colours
blend into a lovely, Australian green and gold.

Magpie
These have a melodious,
fluting, carol often heard on moonlit nights. An amusing
bird to watch as they search for appetising meals, strutting
along with their head held high.

Eastern
Spinebill
Giving us great pleasure in
the garden is the Eastern Spinebill feeding from our fushia
bush. The natural food of these pretty birds includes
mistletoe and native heath.

Superb Fairy
Wren
These are a welcome addition
to our garden with their lovely warbling sound. The
brilliant blue and black adult male is certainly
unmistakable as he flits around from bush to bush in search
of insects.
