over 10 seconds). (left Keumgang block = Left arm low side block and simultaneous right
arm high block)

- Continue looking to the left (West), body is still facing North.
- right fist cross-body front middle punch with left rear elbow strike (right elbow bent,
fist punching to left side in front of body), immediately following very quick left fist
cross-body front middle punch/right rear elbow strike.

- turn body 180° to the left, moving right foot to the West into a Horseback Riding
stance (cross right foot in front of left foot as you pivot on left foot)
- continue turning body another 180° to the left to complete a 360° rotation: move left
foot to West into Horseback Riding Stance (cross left foot behind right foot, pivoting on
right foot). (during course of this 360, body moves one horseback riding stance-width to
the West)
- (body is now facing North again, and head is looking to North)
- right fist cross-body front middle punch

- raise both fists up toward right side of the head, torquing upper body. Raise the right
leg high (up to level of left knee) as if stepping over a log, and assume left crane
stance
- turn the body 90° left so that upper body and hips are facing West. Use left foot as an

- stomp down to side (North) with right foot, as if attacking the opponent's shin,
assuming Horseback Riding Stance
- Double in-to-out high side blocks to defend both sides of the head (Santeul Makki)
