Thunderbird Email Setup
- Open Thunderbird.
- Choose Add Account, then Email.
- Enter your name, full email address and password.
- Choose Manual Configuration if the settings are not found automatically.
- For incoming mail choose POP3.
- Enter the incoming and outgoing server settings below.
- Choose Normal password for authentication.
- Save the account and send yourself a test message.

Example: for jsmith@shoalhaven.net.au, the username is jsmith.
If You Cannot Send Mail
Open Account Settings, then Outgoing Server (SMTP). Check that the server is smtp.shoalhaven.net.au, the port is 587, and authentication is enabled.
